Abbondanza Red Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Montepulicano d’Abruzzo from Abbondanza is a medium-bodied red wine, widely appreciated for its easy-drinking nature and versatility with various foods. Originating from Central Italy, this wine is rich in flavors of black cherry and dark berries with subtle herbal undertones. It possesses enough structure to maintain interest without being overly simplistic, and it can even be enjoyed slightly chilled.

The family-owned and operated vineyards are situated in the picturesque hills of Loreto Aprutino, a beautiful hamlet located between the Gran Sasso National Park of Abruzzo and the pristine Adriatic Sea near Pescara. The vineyards, elevated between 250 and 350 meters above sea level, feature predominantly clay soils with significant limestone and sand components. Although not officially certified, the vineyard employs all organic farming techniques. They use no irrigation and rely on renewable wind energy, striving to work harmoniously with nature.
